Oh and did I also say I bought a book and a CD single from ebay? and btw LC's new book is out! And I thought of getting Alicia Key's first 2 albums as well.

So, January went by pretty quick. My exams are over. The papers were shitty. I just found out that there's NO one week break before college starts again. Yep, that means I'll be going back to that now-very-overly-populated place on Tuesday. Earlier, I pretty much just stared at the list of things I wantED to do, and then put that aside. I'm gonna start some of them now, and tomorrow. Really wanted/needed to get back to doing something creative,making more me-things and maybe go bowling. I miss those tenpins!
Right before my first paper, and also during the first few papers, I was busy settling more uni applications. HK Unis haven't gotten back to me, so I don't really know what's the status of my application. UCAS pretty much done. There's only one more uni that hasn't replied. Looking at how I screwed up my papers this term, next term is really gonna be hell if I want to get those grades to get into those courses. It wouldn't be shocking to actually start studying for those right NOW.
Hmm..OH! Joey REstarted her Starlight Tour for Australia. HUGE Surprise, since everyone thought Macau was the last stop, then she did Singapore, and now, after almost a year.. AUS! in March. Her boxset comes out today! (hopefully) Tenth Anniversary project. Looks very experimental. It's nothing like a nostalgic documentary, classic songs, hand written stories. Nope! Brand NEW, which is quite interesting. I won't know till I get mine a week or 2 later.
The Alicia Keys bug/virus/ LOVE.. has hit me. It was a sudden, but slow, steady,progressive growth of Love. I actually did kinda like here since her As I Am Album, because that was one of the albums that I could actually listen start to finish, and that was when I was incredibly detached from western music, - OMG I ONLY LISTEN TO JOEY -period. Sure, I've heard Fallin', If I Ain't Got You, You Don't Know My Name prior to that, but it wasn't like I actually searched for them. As I Am was an "okay, so this is Alicia Keys, she's got a decent album, I may start paying attention/noticing her music" thing. Empire State of Mind, Jay-Z featuring Alicia Keys came out, which was GOOOOD! but Empire State of Mind Part II by Alicia Keys and her piano sealed the deal. I got The Element and Freedom album, and that was "the engagement". A couple of youtube videos, blog posts,concert experience, songs more, and I might actually propose. XD

I read and saw some videos and maybe I'm only now doing this BECAUSE of Alicia Keys, but I truly felt what I felt and it was incredibly eye-opening and I'm grateful (and I admit I'm a little spoiled) for the things that I do have. Those people need help, people with AIDS, kids orphaned because of AIDS, and it's spreading. Not only over there, but here in Malaysia too. So just stay informed, spread the word. HELP.

Poor girl, she looks so lost (she probably is, and they didn't get what she was saying) but I thoroughly enjoyed her presence , and I have never seen her play such a small piano. XD
